Qatar Aviation Services (QAS), participates as a silver sponsor at the 32nd IATA Ground Handling Conference that took place in Madrid, Spain this year.
This is the second year that QAS participates in what is known to be the most prestigious event in the ground handling industry. Last year the conference was hosted by Qatar Airways and Qatar Aviation Services took place at Doha, Qatar making the first conference of its kind to be hosted in the MENA region and drew more than 700 international delegates and guests from more than a dozen nations globally.
QAS Senior Vice President, Mehmet Murat Nursel, said “we are very proud of this year’s participation, IGHC is plays an important role as a platform for all industry leaders to come together and discuss issues related to ground handling and aviation.”
QAS participated with a an outstanding exhibition stand that attracted delegates to visit, where the company showcased their premium ground handling services, especially the Centralized Load Control (CLC), which QAS recently announced the opening of their first international CLC office in New Delhi, India.
This is the first step towards QAS’s international expansion plans, which were announced at the same conference last year.
