Lounge FAQs

1. What are the facilities of Oryx lounge?

Open buffet, beverages including alcohol, shower rooms, TV area, business centre, open Wi-Fi, smoking room, quiet room, game rooms, family room and locker facility.

2. Where exactly the Oryx Lounge is located?

Lounge is located in the transit departure area level 2 beside teddy bear

3. Do you have prayer room facilities inside the Lounge?

Prayer room facilities are available on each HIA concourses

4. Does lounge has pre-booking option

5. Does lounge has specific sleeping area?

We provides quiet room to relax with limited semi-recliners. First come first serve basis

6. If the stay is more than 6 hours, what is the additional charge?

The fee is fixed for every 6 hours

7. Is it the same charge for kids?

Children below 2 years can access lounge for free.

8. Can I keep my luggage in the locker room and leave airport premises?

Due to security reasons it is not allowed to keep the luggage unattended/lockers if you are leaving airport premises

9. Once I access the lounge and if I don't like the facilities can I ask for a refund?

Prior to the check-in process you are asked to check our facilities and the check-in is done after your confirmation

10. Can I split the lounge access time?

Once the check-in is done your access to the lounge starts. Within the 6hours you are always free to leave the lounge and comeback anytime

11. Can I take the food and beverage out of the lounge?

Due to health and safety reasons you will not be allowed to take food or beverage out from the lounge

12. Can I store my food/medicines in the lounge chillers during my 6hrs stay?

Due to food / health and safety reasons we do not allow to store external food/medicines

13. Pets and Falcons allowed in the Lounge?

Due to health and safety reason we will not allow pets and falcons inside the lounge.

14. Announcement and wake up calls in the Lounge?

As Oryx Lounge is a silent lounge no announcement nor wake-up calls are made

15. Can I use someone elses debit or credit card for accessing the lounge?

To access the lounge Card Holders presence is a must

16. Do you serve food and beverages during Ramadan time?

Food and beverages are served

17. My final destination is Doha. Can I still access Oryx Lounge?

You can only access the Lounge if you hold an onward boarding pass

18. Do you provide chargers and travel adapters in Oryx Lounge?

Inside the lounge we do have universal sockets along with USD charging
