New Airlines and Airport openingsOne of the advantages that we bring to our customers is having successfully operated at one of the most modern and technologically advanced airports in the world, the Hamad International Airport, in Doha. It is a major key to our success, having managed the transition from the old Doha International Airport to Hamad International Airport in two, twelve-hour shifts.
This large scale transfer of manpower and operating vehicles and equipment was managed without incurring any delays to aircraft on-time-departures. QAS transitioned straight into operating in a world class facility with a warehouse floor capacity of over 55,000 square meters equipped with the right mix of technology, developed operating systems and highly trained staff.

QAS Cargo has a dedicated cool chain handling team operating 24/7, trained to handle Constant Climate shipments for perishable goods such as: meat products, food stuff, flowers, vaccines, biotech products, diagnostic samples, life sciences transportation etc.
We will soon be operating a brand new Climate Control Centre, a 2,470 square meter airside transit facility for temperature-sensitive cargo, featuring two zones operating for 2- 8C or 15- 25C with capacity to hold a total of 156 ULDs at a time. Built in compliance with good distribution practice (GDP) regulations for storage of pharmaceutical products.
Our state-of-the-art advanced software and IT solution, named CROAMIS, helps airlines and ground handling agents get an end-to-end view of cargo operations. CROAMIS is fully compliant to IATA initiatives, such as e-AWB, e-Freight, e-CSD, Cargo XML and also facilitates adherence to Cargo 2000 quality standards. CROAMIS provides an integrated customer self-service web portal, enabling speed-to-market and improves information availability to customers.
